Ciarán is a Director in KPMG’s Infrastructure & Government advisory team. He is a chartered engineer with almost 20 years experience in infrastructure and strategic asset management projects across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Australia. He has a particular focus on infrastructure investment planning and delivery, energy policy, regulatory strategy, strategic asset management, and infrastructure resilience improvement programmes.
Ciarán has significant experience in the energy sector and has advised government departments and semi-state organisations on a range of topics including policy development, project feasibility, investment planning and resilience improvement strategies. Before joining KPMG in 2002, Ciarán worked in the power and utilities industry for over 15 years including roles at EirGrid Group, AusNet Services and Yarra Valley Water in Victoria, Australia. Ciaran holds a master’s degree in Reliability Engineering from Monash University, Australia.
