François leads a team of more than 1,100 consultants and engineers across the UK and Ireland. Egis is a global engineering, architecture and operations consultancy employing 20,000 people in more than 70 countries.
François brings extensive international experience in organisational growth, strategic partnerships and major infrastructure delivery, having worked across the UK, Ireland, continental Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South-East Asia.
He joined Egis in 2023 to lead the Energy & Sustainable Cities Business Line across Europe and Africa, helping drive regional growth and strengthen the firm’s market position. In early 2026 he was appointed Managing Director for the UK & Ireland, responsible for the performance and development of Egis’ consulting and engineering activities in both countries.
Prior to joining Egis, François held senior leadership roles with global engineering and professional services consultancies across the UK, Ireland, France and the Middle East. He has significant sector experience across water, energy, the built environment and transport and is particularly interested in how international delivery models can inform the development of infrastructure in Ireland.
