Cathal is an experienced professional chartered engineer with a track record of developing strategy and managing change on challenging projects and operations in the transport sector. He is passionate about evolving the transport sector in a sustainable manner and establishing longer term funding frameworks for ongoing and future investments. Cathal is currently responsible for leading a team of 60 professionals managing a portfolio of activities including: Tolling and Road User Charging, oversight of 15 PPP national road building schemes and TII’s Light Rail Network Management section.
