Ross drives the development of Ireland’s next generation of transition and Net Zero assets. With a career spanning operations, trading, regulation, market modelling, asset development and commercial strategy, Ross brings a rare end‑to‑end understanding of how energy systems evolve, and what they need to decarbonise at pace.
Since joining Bord Gáis Energy in 2019, Ross has played a central role in shaping the company’s low‑carbon and flexible generation pipeline, combining technical insight with commercial and regulatory expertise to deliver projects that support security of supply and the wider energy transition.
Ross holds a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University College Cork.
